Bref is a compact plugin for creating FM drum sounds. It distills the power of our flagship Ephemere drum synth into a focused, inspiring tool ideal for sound design and experimental music.

Sonic serendipity

Generate a random pair of sounds using dual instances of a percussion synthesizer derived from Ephemere, allowing you to craft a wide range of metallic and percussive timbres. Trigger them with any MIDI note (making it easy to use multiple instances inside drum racks). Blend sounds with the Morph knob and regenerate variations instantly to discover new sonic possibilities.
